Road Trip

Post by Joe Travers »

Pretty cool road trip yesterday. Ran across this-

'63 1/2 S-22 ht, original 260 w/ Merc-O-Matic car. Buckets & console still there. Didn't get to spend much time looking close, POB was closed.
It's for sale, easy pickup if you're in the Ark-La-Miss area. I was thinking about it but I have one too many projects in the fire already.

PM me, if you're interested. I have the seller's number. Called him this morning, has a clean title.
I don't know the guy, don't take commissions, just passing this on.

I don't need another project, either, but what is he asking?

$2500
The inspection sticker is missing from the windshield, don't know how long it's been sitting.

Not a bad price given how complete it appears to be.

It's only an hour away from my home. May drive back and take a closer look when I have time.

Hmmm

Keep us posted on what you find out, I might be a player but it'd be awhile before I could come over to pick it up, maybe do a transport of find someone close that would store it temporarily. If nothing else it needs to be saved and not parted.
Careful your character's showing!

Seven and one-half hours from your place. I'll see what I can do but no promises.
Wife is disabled and I'm Suzy Homemaker most of the time.

Called the seller this morning, he said he would take a trade on the car.

He owns a shop, isn't a car dealer. That's why I'm not posting his number publicly. I try not to keep him on the phone for long, interrupt his business. He did mention the wiring was hacked up a bit in the car.

Will try to post more pictures soon, especially undercarraige.
