Kasse's been developing the Boss 9 platform out to big displacement for a few years now. His engines are currently ruling A Gas class in SEGA competition. I would love to visit his shop next time I visit my oldest son. He lives about 20 miles from Kasse HQ.

Thanks for sharing, Fred. I have an old friend w/ a 460 CJ engine sitting on a stand in his shop. Pulled the 429 CJ out of a Torino GT back in the '80s, stroked it and dropped it into a tow truck. The truck is long gone but the engine is still around.

That is funny that I just read that article a few days ago. My brother has had 460 based motors in his 1968 fastback since the early 90's, but I have never ran one. Now I am thinking of grabbing one while they are still relatively cheap.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

I would love to have Wendell's CJ engine for a truck application.
He ran a 390 Holley on it and I bet it never saw 3K rpm after he stroked it.
