63 hardtop 2 door looks interesting.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

It did not make reserve when it crossed the block, it went into “the bid goes on” where the high bidder or anyone else has the opportunity to bid in it. It sold for $22k which means someone stepped up with $5k more.

Was looking at this one a couple days ago. Maybe Hagerty will set up a value guide for the hardtop Custom.
An automatic car. Still waiting to see a 4 speed car for comparison.

It’s great to see you posting again! I hope you are on the mend and returning to normal activities soon. It’s been too quiet here without your input.

Coming around very slowly. Weak knees curbing my enthusiasm for driving the Comet.
In the meantime, I'm trying to clean her up a bit when I'm up to it. Pollen has been very bad down here.
Thanks, Jim
