Well, I've made contact with the guy I sold my 62 to. He still has it; it's out to pasture. He is considering selling it back to me.
I built that car in 1983.

John, Don't give up on your search for your old Comet! Bump it up as often as you need to, as there are some sharp eyes on here. They helped me find and get back a 65 that had been out of my hands for 21 years, so nothing is impossible. Get a picture of it on here if you can, that really got the ball rolling on mine. See "Introduce Yourself" then "The ones that got away..." Good luck, hope it returns home for you. Cary

Bumping back up.found video, taking it to get reformatted to Cd. last seen in Federal Way, Washington. hope to post pics, soon. If you know of a 65 project for sale that might work also....

Roy, I got on google maps and found the house I last saw it at. Got the address and sent a letter. Its a long shot but cost of stamp is cheap.it was the corner of 1st ave and 304 th in Federal Way.I wish I had the vin.
