Well,we gonna pass on going to the track,tonight,,BECAUSE of calling for RAIN this after noon and it's a 2 hr drive at least,so we decided to call it off ,,THAT"s OK !! the cars are ready and they won't spoil from sitting there,for another week.As I get older,I think more about the HOW and WHY's of things ,other words --It'll all work out,,,BEST of luck to everyone that gets to go RACE this week end and the next and so on ........be waiting for some results/reports !!! have a nice day........ Well, my first trip to Mason Dixon Dragway was short lived. Got to make two time shots and then it rained probably 3" in an hour. Yeah well.

MARK ,hate to hear that ...but we listened to all weather reports and decided not to chance it ,,,come to find out today,the rain went around and completly missed the race track,all the locals and a few that don't have 21/2 HR DRIVE,showed up and they had a heck of a good night's worth of racing......damn if you do ....damn if you don't !!!!!...now ain't that something to write home about ?.......pop

Get the rain out of the way before next weekend. I don't want to get wet while I am securing the car on the trailer. On second thought, I'll have Rick hold the umbrella.

Pop- Isn't that how it always goes? I was on the phone yesterday with friends back home at two tracks an hour and a half away from each other and they were all racing! Go figure.
Roy- I wish i could! You can have it for a while. I'm sick of getting soaked. I'll let you know where i'm racing next in case you want to come out for some rain. HAHA
Dave- That's funny! Yeah, let rick hold the umbrella! HAHA After seeing all the awesome 65 Comets yesterday, i hope i'm not making a mistake????? I have to keep my focus on the new car coming my way.

Hoping to run the Old Days Drags at Island Dragway in NJ this Sunday, as long as the weather holds out. 40% chance of rain....big suprise! Sick and tired of rain! But, i'm counting my blessings that we didn't get nailed like the folks down south. Prayers go out to all of the flooded people. Mark

Good luck on the weather and the race,,,Calling for rain friday in the PM LATE,early sat AM over by early to mid morning,so it's a toss up as of now,sometimes a race is called because of condition of track,pits and parking,not because of rain at the momet,poor drainage other words,,,,,hope to race this sat-night,if not it'll be 4 in a row that this old ford has sat......pop
