1967 I'm working on this resto project (not mine) that stalled out because, well, the work was way over the owner's head. Body and paint are done and decent enough. 390 was put together along with a C6 and stuck in the car but most everything else is a giant mess. Enough background, the questions...I would like to see a pic of the speedo cable hole in the toe board, which was replaced, and maybe some of the routing. The under hood wire harness that is supposed to be original, seems to be correct from the RH side, across the front, then goes back to the firewall with a 10 pin plug. The problem is I don't see any provision for engine feed, coil, oil, temp. Nothing for the wipers, brake warning, washer. I'm assuming there's at least 1 more harness passing through the fire wall but don't really know. Some pics would be nice,or any information. You guys are good, help me! Thanks!
P.S.
I will admit that it's a Fairlane but those guys are mostly into show and tell and tech info seems sparse.
Speedo cable and under hood wiring

Re: Speedo cable and under hood wiring
Thanks,Caveman! I do have the books and they plainly show the circuits but I would like to see how the under hood harness(s) actually run. I think I have it figured out from the alternator, battery, lights. It's the wiring on the left fender well to the firewall that I'm having trouble with. Some metal was replaced around the steering column area of the firewall and I think some of harness holes, including the speedo cable, have been covered up. Any pictures or help would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Speedo cable and under hood wiring
I’ll try to snap some pics on our 66 sometime today, I believe most of the wiring is original.
Re: Speedo cable and under hood wiring
This is what I’m seeing under dash inside. Cable runs out of speedometer to the floorboard, under a plate (where apparently there’s a hole under it) then goes to trans.

I’ve not jacked the car up to actually see where the cable is coming through to go to the trans. If I get time I’ll try to check it out, no guarantees. Hope this helps some.

Re: Speedo cable and under hood wiring
Thanks! No hole there on the car I'm working on. New tin and they just patched over it.
Re: Speedo cable and under hood wiring
Well I guess you can make a hole where ever it’ll work best. Grommet it, and you should be good.
