I bought mine with the front and rear windows missing, both have the worlds worst adhesive stuck around the edges. Do you happen to know how they removed the old sealant? I've tried a few methods that seem to just fall short. I'd love to get mine cleaned up so I can install both when they arrive.

My glass is still in with the trim off while I work on the body. I’ll probably try different methods to remove the sealants. Get as much as possible with metal and plastic scrapers, then maybe some solvents, then probably use my surface conditioning tool with the narrow wheel, or a wire wheel type attachment to my drill.

Whatever you decide just take your time and go easy with it, shouldn’t really hurt anything that way.

Maybe someone here has done it and can chime in how they cleaned it up.

The person that removed my wind shield used what looked like a flexible spatula on a air hammer. He then used a chemical to remove the old left over adhesive. I am not sure the name but it had a Mercedes emblem on it.
