Almost won again!!

Went racing nostalgia racing this weekend at Maple Grove Raceway and went five rounds. So darn close. Had the same dial on my car for all five rounds. The little 63 was deadly consistant again. I can't believe how well she's working. Maybe next time we go all the way like at the Ford Nationals.

Way to go!! I wish we had a few of the old tracks back,we are down to two 1/8th mile and one 1/4 mile track now here in Southern CA.!! ROY.

I am pretty fortunate here in the northeast. I am within 2 1/2 hours of 7 different tracks.

I can only dream of that!!!! It is 21/2 to 3 hour tow over the mountains to get to Famoso[Bakersfield],our last 1/4 mile track in So.CA.!!There used to be at least 10 1/4 mile tracks within a 3 hour radius from me back until the 70s to 80s !!! ROY.

Roy looks like Willow Springs is doing drag racing now http://www.willowspringsraceway.com/home/home.asp

Its old school 1/8 mile, no tree and limited to high 10s (I guess your out with your new motor ). But its drag racing.
I think theyre trying to take up some of the slack that LACR left.
I might check it out just to see what shows up.
