Tie Rods

Post by MattDoscher »

Working on converting my manual steering Comet to power steering. I need to change out my manual steering specific tie rods to power steering specific. My question is would inner and outer tie rods for a '65 Mustang fit? It seems to me that they would.

thanks,
Matt

Yep, all the mustang steering stuff except the centerlink will work on your 65.

Oh Thank you! Have a 65 Comet 202.
Swapped out to a 302, have had trouble getting replacement tie rod ends.
This will solve it!

If your car was originally a 6 cyl those tierodends were different , so you would need to specify 6 cyl mustang t rod ends.
