Any Ideas for a new aftermarket clutch/brake assembly ?

Post by Red Lehr »

Hello all, still chugging along on my 64 Comet Pro Street build and I was wondering if any one out there had put a new set of aftermarket brake/clutch pedals in their 64 Comet ? I have Willwood disc brakes front and back..
Looking for ideas or thoughts from y'all. Thanks !

I am no help, the only part of my brake and clutch re-do that was not replaced was the pedals even though I did redo the bushings.

Someday if the mood strikes me and I want to lay on my head I might do the roller bearing upgrade on them but for now and maybe the rest of my life they are good  :P

See Ya,
Mike

Not sure of his user name, projim64 maybe put Howe (Ithink?) pedals in a prostreet 64. Think he said he bell cranked the master cyl 90° to hide it and keep the fire wall clean.
I have some pics somewhere of an early Falcon that was done as a street legal circle tracker in Pearson colours. It has aftermarket pedals and a hole in the dash to access the reservoirs for brake and clutch.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

I tracked down projim64, he used Tilton pedals but there were no install pics.
I googled tilton pedal install and there are some ideas there.
Good luck great build!
