66' clutch fork

Post by lazer »

I have a 66 Comet with a 390 3 speed that I'm putting a 4 speed and clutch. I took the bellhousing off and put the new throw-out bearing in. How does that clutch fork stay in place. There is a raised bar in the bell where the fork rests but it's loose. There are two holes on the fork one on either side where is rests on that bar. What am I missing?

Thank you I just ordered it. Is there a trick putting it on or easy to figure it out?
