Also basing my posts on 8" differential & '63 V8 front suspension, not 7.5" differential & '62 I6 front suspension.
The only way to know for your car and components w/ certainty is to follow Fred's advice before springing for spacers.
I'm still w/ Jim on this one. If it were me, I'd sell the sets you have to buy the swap pieces, including a wheel/tire combo that fits well.

Lots a ideas here. Dont know where you are but if you drive it over the winter months maybe just throw a set of tires on it for now and drive it.
Sell off what isnt in the cars long term future and
then focus on collecting the parts for your transformation?
Just another idea.
