Haha! Thanks guys!
Ive still got a few issues to work out. Like the console just touches the stick hump and it needs trimming.
Also, (for the mechanical clutch experts); my clutch engages at the very bottom of travel, when it touches the floor. The pedal height is OK (about 1/4" above the brake pedal), free-play is around 3/4". Both my upper rod and lower are adjustable. Any ideas on how to get the dis-engage point higher...to a couple if inches above the floor?
Im thinking of adjusting the pedal stop to get the pedal higher, and then adjusting the upper rod longer keep the z-bar, lower rod and free-play where they are now.
Any thoughts?
Thanks again

Joe;adjust your lower rod to put more pressure on the clutch fork, that will bring it up off of the floor. ROY.

OK...so in effect I would be decreasing free play? I tried that and it started acting weird. When I was shifting up at a higher RPM the pedal would return and stop and then pop up at the last 1/4". So I increased the free play a little.
I guess Im gonna get in there and try it again.
This is fun...at least Im not leaking ATF all over the place anymore
Thanks Roy.

Joe,
Did you adjust the clutch return spring when you put the pedal bracket in? With the pedal completely up the spring length, measured from where it attaches to the clutch pedal to the point on the coiled end that goes through the adjustment rod, should be 10 1/4 inches long. It is adjusted with the nut on the adjustment rod. I don't know if this will help but I adjusted mine before I assembled it. Now, if I ever get the guts to cut the hole in the floor it will be ready to install.

Hey Dave,
Im not using any assist spring at all. Im using a diaphragm style clutch and the installation instructions said to leave the spring out...so I did. The clutch pedal effort is light enough I guess. Just to see how it felt I installed the spring and adjusted it and it didnt seem to work as well.
Thanks for the suggestion.
And the offer still stands...have cut-off wheel; will travel
