The console shell itself is the same as a Falcon. Not sure if they are still reproduced but Autokrafters used to carry them.
The lid is different than a Falcon and it isn’t and never was reproduced. You’ll have to scan eBay and Craigslist for that. The lid emblem is reproduced.
Good luck!

Autokrafters only carries the lid, which is for a Falcon, but fits Comet console body, which they share.

The problem is a Comet lid will have to be an original, and good ones are few and far between, and don't come cheap.

Melvins carries the console body. Not cheap, either.

Like Joe said, ebay and Craigslist may provide some joy.

Somebody needs to re-pop the rectangular chrome lid that circles the lid, I am in need of two! I have purchased the emblem insert from Mac's, nice, but it will not fit in the Falcon lid indent, as the Falcon insert has a wing. Somebody on here probably has a complete console, but it seems like a difficult item to let go of! :D Good luck!

$600 would probably be one in very good condition, but one in just decent condition is in the $450 range. Nowadays, with 3D printing, someone with the equipment could reproduce the lid, although equipment large enough to print that would be very expensive. The problem would be reproducing the coral that goes on top. That could probably be 3D printed, too, but would have to be chrome plated, and I would think it would be very brittle/delicate.
