1965 Comet parking lights

Post by woodsallen »

I am searching for front parking light housings. I would also like to confirm if the housings are interchangeable left and right. The mounting brackets maybe unique but I’m find it hard to even find part numbers for any of these items.

Thanks for your help,

Thanks for getting back with the info. If you get a chance I’d like to see what they look like, passenger side would be most important to me.

The right side (pass side) has the best housing.one little slight flat spot on the bottom leading edge. & a nick up in the top. but the light socket is rotten>Pic#4 . the left one looks like someone hooked the bumper jack there in the top. but that area is hard to see, unless your laying down.& it has a few more nicks.they need stripping & polishing. brackets are rusty but solid. I'd take 30 for the set w/brackets + shipping.

here are the part numbers if you just need those
SAE-PD-65CT TOP RH > RIGHT ALUM HOUSING
SAE-PD-65CT TOP LH > LEFT ALUMINUM HOUSING
FPT-61 > LENSES > ambidextrous
BRACKETS I couldn't see any numbers. probably could if they were sand blasted.

you can see the number on this first pic. passenger side is on the right,
