Asking for a friend-
Anyone have a lead on a 5 bolt block? His is old and tired and he wants to start building a replacement motor.
Thanks

Hello again Comethead,
Good news is the 289 is std. bore. Not so good news is it will need a sleeve in number one cylinder.
This is just what I can see.
Still need to pressure test.
I feel confident it will be ok otherwise.
The 260 looks good. But still need to pressure test.
Thank you.
Alex
