I have a pair/set of 8" axles but I don't know what year they are, I was going to put them in my 6 cyl. 8' but I would have to install bigger bearing cups so I just went ahead with the 8.8 instead, I guess I will leave the 8" with 4 bolt wheels and save it for a future project reusing the entire running gear that came out of my '64, don't know what that would be but it is all here, if you can tell me how to ID the axles I might be able to help you out.

See Ya,
Mike

I will try to find out the axle length and pistol it. I just know it is the drivers side at this time.

Mike,
Do you think you can get a measurement on your axle and see if they come close to what I found out.I can't find the paper work from when i bought replacement strange axles which would have had part # and dimensions. i did however find dimensions on Dutchman axles website.

Dimensions:

Length, LH drivers side: 26″
Length, RH passenger side: 30 1/8″
Spline count: 28
Bolt pattern: 5 on 4 1/2″
Stud size: 1/2″
Brakes: Drum
Drum pilot: 2.432 (1/4” tall, stock height pilots carry a $ surcharge)
Wheel Bearing: Ball, RW207, 2.835 od
Retainer Plates: Yes, SB-SB
OEM Part #, LH: C2OZ-4234-A, C5OZ-4234-A

Mike,

If you still have those axles, here are some pics on how to measure them. I have the long axle and I am looking for the short 26" axle.
