63 Hood Hinges
63 Hood Hinges
Anyone have hood hinges laying around, that you do not need? Left one is in good shape, but right is all bent out of shape. There are no springs on mine.

If new hinges are available they are probably same as Mustang which probably means all early Comet, Falcon to 65 and mustang to 66 are the same. Probably worth checking into. Must be something around.

Thanks JT and Sassy, yes $210/400 is a chuck of change! Will head to a wrecker and see if I can match them up.

Re: 63 Hood Hinges
Can you post me a picture, please. Where are you located? I will have to get them to Canada. Thanks
Re: 63 Hood Hinges
I replaced the factory hinges on my ‘64 with Mustang reproduction units, they made a huge difference in the way the hood fits. Make sure you spend the extra money on good reproduction units, they are worth the money compared to the cheaper reproductions.

Re: 63 Hood Hinges
Well, from what I see the 64 hinges will not fit on a 63
