1962 S22 engine hood

Post by Oldman »

Hey there Comet Community.
With all Comets of the 1962 vintage. I need a new engine hood. It can be dented and look like crap. I don't care. Bammer and dollies work wonders. As long as its not all rusted in the hood latch area and the hinge bolt hole area is in good shape.

,
it would be useful to post your location as shipping is often a concern.

I used a dented - crusty donated hood ('kudos to Pixel') for the 61's junkyard rescue.

The refresh is clean but this period correct look is Boss!
Really like that paint scheme and wheel/tire combo. May be a bit overstated but it's rad, IMO. One of a kind.
