63 Parking light

Post by 1948F1 »

I'm trying to find a passenger side front park/signal light assembly, or the socket and wiring if it is removable. Ed

Try George @ NWClassics 406-543-2591. He was parting out a '62 last Summer, may still have it.
He's a good guy, does business the old way (on the phone).

Is the 60-63 parking light all the same, except for lense color? I compared internet photos and it sure looks like it. George thinks he has one, but he wasn't sure it would fit, since mine is a 63, and he has a 62. Thanks again.

If it doesn't work, I'll pay you for it. I could use an extra one.
Remind George to check the socket for bulb release. I'm sure he already has. He treated me fairly.
You may could get the old socket out and try this, but I don't know if it would work out. The housings are very flimsy and hard to locate.
Last thing you want to do is crack it.
