Vinyl roof trim needed 64-65
I have been so far unsuccessful in locating a set of decent vinyl roof trim pieces for a 64 or 65 2 door hardtop, anybody have a set not being used? I have seen discussions on here as far a part numbers, interchangeability etc. I believe 1964 or 1965 will work, either Falcon or Comet, two-tone with painted roof, or vinyl roof cars. Thanks, Cary

you want 64 or 65. they are different. should of bought mine the first time round...
Re: Vinyl roof trim needed 64-65
I was looking for a 64. I did not know they were different, but thanks for the info. I'm not sure I knew you had a set for sale. Must have missed it. My search continues. If I can't find them, it's not the end of the world. My car didn't originally have them. I was just hoping to put a vinyl top on it. Thanks.

Phil, Peps found a real nice set on Ebay a while back, I haven't seen any on there lately. I believe either 64 or 65 will work, but you would need the matching drip rail for whichever you use. On a 65 the vinyl trim replaces the pillar spear, and not all 64's had those. Good luck, lots of eyes and ears on this sight!bump again.....anyone find any?,or something that works?
Take care, Cary
