Just three weekends away. Let's talk it up! Who, besides me, is planning to come?

Well Jim, looks like you and I will be the only ones there. As long as you bring your car we'll have a Gathering cause Aunt Lou will be there!
Go ahead and check your trailer now please.

Re: Comet Gathering 2024
Talked to Suzie a few days ago, and she said there were about 30 signed up for rooms. Hopefully, a lot of those will bring cars. Car or not, come if you can. Lots of good info gets shared at these gatherings. If you have any parts you want to get rid of, shove them in the trunk. You never know who might be looking for what you've got.

Re: Comet Gathering 2024
Pleasantly surprised! As of 9:30 PM, we have 17 cars on the ground, which
I think is a record for Thursday. Hopefully, we’ll add some more tomorrow and Saturday. Shaping up to be a great Gathering!

Keep us in the loop w/ some pics & commentary, Jim!
Going to the doc for a checkup and getting a buy together on a truck or I'd be there.
Don't have too much fun

Quick update:
As of about 7:30 PM, we have 31 cars from 13 states. I’ll try to post pics tomorrow. Turning out to be the best attended gathering we’ve had.

Re: Comet Gathering 2024
Sorry for the late report, but I travel with my ipad, and we don't get along too well when it comes to posting pics. Anyway....
We ended up with 33 cars on the ground from 14 states. The weather was great until late Saturday night, then we got some rain. The temps were slightly cool for June, but very comfortable. Lots of former attendees and lots of new ones, including folks who didn't bring their car. Every trailer that showed up had no lack of volunteers to step up to help with unloading. And, as usual, there was a wealth of experience, tips, advice, and parts/services resources shared. There were also several folks that brought left over parts that found new homes. And it was all topped off with a sheet cake to celebrate the 13th Gathering along with goody bags and door prizes for everyone there. Another very successful Comet Gathering.
Apologies, but most of the car pics are shot from the rear because I was trying to capture a record of the states represented on the tags. In counting the pics, I apparently missed a couple. Folks were coming and going to go eat, etc., so it was like herding cats to keep up with them.
Pat even brought his old parts car from Texas and sold it to Pug's son!

Jim,
Thank You for posting all the pictures! It looks as if there was a good selection of year/ models of Comets in attendance. Maybe one of these years I will make it to the event.

Jim,
Awesome pictures! Thank you for posting them too. Looks like a wonderful gathering of folks interested in the same thing. Visiting eating, more visiting and some talk about cars too! I hope I can make it at some point too.

Thanks for posting. Soooo many Comets. Looks like this might actually be a "thing" Great to see a few more 64 convertibles. And a couple of Gen 2 Comets as well. I'll get back some year, so keep it going.
