In the famous words of Roscoe P Coltrane. Good news good news. A friend of mine is letting me borrow a set of heads. I will start thrashing on her tomorrow when I get home from work. So I want be cometless for the gathering. My wife felt bad for me yesterday when I told her the Comet wouldn't make the trip to PF. She said just fix it right that way you only have to do it once. I told her that was the plan. My heads will be ready next week. Can't wait to see everyone. Pop, Johnnie, and Ratical, the Maryville/ Townsend route is less congested, but curvy when you come into Wears Valley. James st putting it out there, Pugs.

We are getting to head out in the morning but won't make PF until Friday, we thought we would spend the day Thursday checking out Nashville before we head east on Friday morning.

So the threat of us helping work on your car did the trick. Glad you AND the car will make it again.

We had an interesting day of traveling with the new fuel, Aunt Lou was actually vapor locking at 80 miles an hour in the mid afternoon. I knocked it back to 65 and that helped prolong it, fortunately we found some non-ethanol on the road and we were back in business, bedded down in Chattanooga and will meandor over to PF tomorrow evening.

Kevin I would have loved all the help. I just hate not having everything handy. The fact that my buddy let me borrow the heads is a great help. Today will be a fun filled afternoon of wrench turnin. I hope the rain holds off, Pugs.

Hey Pugs, you need any help with the comet/heads? I'm not too far away ya know. I've been burning the midnight oil myself trying to get things done on mine but will help if I can.

We're here, were ya'll at????

Weather for the week end, pretty much stinks, mostly rain last time we looked. The desk girl said something about hail, that would NOT sit well.

Ryan thanks for the offer man. I appreciate it alot. Have to grab a new thermostat housing in the mornin, adjust the carbs, go get the trailer, and run a few errands for my grandmother. Then I'm PF bound, Pugs.
