I tried to call Ryann today but no answer. Left a message for him to call me. I may go by his house tomorrow if I don’t hear back from him today.

I spoke with Ryann this evening. He said as long as weather is good he will be there.

And has anyone heard from Loman?

Guys........I've really struggled with this decision, but I'm not going to come to the gathering this year. Our family, including our two daughters and their families are renting a house at the beach the following week of June 13th. We've all been very careful to protect ourselves from this virus pandemic for the past couple of months. I think our Comet gathering will be a safe event with reasonable precautions this year, but for their peace of mind and mine, I don't want to take any chances the weekend before spending a week with them all in the same house. I'll miss all my Comet friends, and miss making some new ones. I'll also miss the knowledge I pick up every year, the stories and "lemonade" shared under the tent. If it weren't for vacation with the family the following week, I'd be there with bells on (and my Comet, too). I'll be there in spirit, though, and keeping frequent checks on the proceedings. Have fun, and I'll plan to see you all next year.

We're headed out in the morning so we should be there by mid to late afternoon.

Marvett and Connie are not going to come this year, they go to Maine every summer and have too much to do before they leave.

Probably heading up Friday after lunch. Looking forward to see those coming and gonna miss those that are not. Just got my hydraulic clutch hopefully sorted in the 64.

There is a Comet in Pigeon Forge! When got in about 8:00 yesterday. I meet a lady in Sweetwater that has a 63 vert that see has had since she was 16, we invited her so maybe she'll show up. She said it's time to sell it, my guess is she's late 40s early 50s unless she ask, then she looked 29. We took AJ on a pony ride this morning so the important stuff is done. Kim and Courtney are at the Christmas shop so I got out of that this year.

We are a little concerned about the tent situation this year so if you have a tent and can please bring it, not sure what the town is gonna say but we have Susie's permission to put them up. The only thing I would ask is that we have to find an effective way to secure them from the wind, I have personally seen damage done to cars at show due to the little pop up tents.

While posting JL called me and he is sitting a few doors down and Black Magic just pulled up on a trailer. We officially have a Gathering!

POP is already missing not getting to be there....am not sure ,but I think DWAYNE has talked to the owner of black magic and sent him PIC's of old RUSTY ,,and he invited us to come to his shop...so far the comets that are there represent just how impressive comets are....the white 65 to me is still the poster child,,,but the others are very sharp also...hope all has a great time !!! lord willing....POP will show up next year...……..pop
