2bbl carb swap

Post by 250Mav »

i did this a while ago to my maverick and love it so the comet should be getting it soon too

its a Holley/webber 5200 progressive 2BBL carb. i idles better, gets going quicker, and if im easy on it mpg's dont suffer either. it was an all around improvment and pretty much all bolt on.

you can mill the head to directly bolt on a 2bbl but i just used an adapter plate. it probably doesnt reach its full potential that way but it did make it a bolt on swap and was still a performance improvment

Dave the intake is cast on the head, the only way to remove it is to mill it off.
