I have quite a bit of slack, anybody know the tolerence/procedure for doing this?

I ran mine .012-.014 at temperature.A little rocker tap is normal with these.Later,Heath

I installed my junkyard head, and reused the rocker arms and when I switched them to the new head they have like 1/8" of clearance.
Are all the exhaust/intake pushrods the same length?

Your junk yard one couldve been shaved a little or could be difference in headgasket thickness.

I think the head gasket is definatly thicker, will that effect anything other than having to set the rockers?

Will slightly lower the compression ratio also.Not enought to tell any difference.
