neutral saftey switch

Can anybody tell me where the neutral saftey switch is on a 62 comet custom. and how you can adjust it so the car starts in park. right now i have to continue moving the shift lever around. Thanx, Mike

I was told its on top of column under dash----if for a fact it is ,,you ought to be able to loosen the sxrews and while in park and holding key in start position,slid switch (rocking motion),til you make the adjust-ment.5/16 open end wrench will fit screws best I recall.....hope this helps,,if not repost and we'll come up with something else..Cause we are here to help good luck and thanks pop
