hardened valve seats? inline 250 head

I'm thinking about doing the 250 head swap on my 200. I found a 250 local complete from carb to oil pan. Its a 72/73 year inline 250 and i'm not sure what its out of. In 72/73 did they use hardened valve seats in the motors? Thanks
