Would any one know the torque spec for the front hubs on a 62 comet 170 ci.? thanx mike

MIKE,the way I do is tighten the nut firm,to seat the bearings and then I back off the nut til they spin freely,then I grab the top and the bottom of the drum and try to find any slack ...adjust the nut accordialy....thats how I do them,in fact I'll have both of mine off in the morn and when I restall them ,I'll do it ,just like I said.....thank you and good luck,hope I helped...........ole pop

Thats the way I have always done them. Thought i would try factory specs this time. Guess i will just do it as usual.Thanx pop. Mike
