Advice to build a moderate 6

Post by rditz »

I recently was given an 80' Mustang with a 200CI 6-banger... I don't want to do much to it other than basically clean it up and put header(s) with a dual exhaust on it... also possibly a T5... i was also hoping to swap out the intake for a 2bbl intake.... i am going to yank the motor and trans so that I can replace oil pump, new gaskets, etc..... (there isn't a lot of miles on the car, so i was going to leave it stock, of course this will be determined by a compression check)....

basically i am looking for some advice on what i can mildly do on some kind of a budgetthat will give this car a bit more life, make it sound cool and be different than every other mustang out there...

Sorry for posting this here, but some of you already know that I have a 66' Comet... anf thought that someone here would be able to steer me in the right direction..

thanks in advance
