Im thinking a row of leds above the licence plate half hidden by the bumper, probably work on your car too.
I was thinking same thing. Maybe something along the lines of these?

Cool ideas! Been thinking along the same lines. Got rid of my backup lens for red ones. And was thinking of maybe a license plate frame with a light built into it? Not really knowledgeable on the new LED lights and such, but was thinking maybe something LED may be small enough for a frame but bright enough to work.

First off, wouldn't of had a clue about this without Mike!

Got it to work on the bench

Getting a little closer to install. I couldn't get the sequence to work right till I changed the power supply for the 3rd bulb module from Mike's schematic to the 2nd bulb power out.
This is ready to install. Mounting between the gas filler and right taillight on the flat panel metal there. Using Velcro to mount. Wires out of box are positioned as bulb power with ground at center then colour coded at plug.
Other pic is what I used for backup light location so it accepts 1157. Fits perfect.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

That's cool, Fred! Makes me wish I had multiple tail lights. I'll just have to take comfort in my superior stacked headlights.
