Molding fender patches.

My father making some corner for my 64 fenders out of leftover quarter panel patches. He gave it some good shapes with a dolly and hammer. Will show the quarter panels once he is done with them.

I agree. Getting hard to find real craftsmen these days. Almost a lost art and this looks like art to me :D

Yes. 50+ years and still working. He taught me, but I’m definitely not to his level.

He use to have his own business but was tired of all the BS so now he works at body shop that does high end restorations.
Whenever the body shop can’t find a part he makes it for them.

He made some some patches from 16 gauge sheet metal for the outside of the toe kick panel. I’ll post some pictures of it when I get home.

Wish he was in my neighborhood, for sure!
Only know one guy here that is on that level and he stays busy running a gin.

Passengers side fenders should done by this weekend.
