Introduce yourself

Post by Jim Clayton »

It's great to see all these new members joining in on the best web-site on the net COMET CENTRAL. Just one thing new guys and some of you other guys, I like to check the profiles on new members and people whom I have contact with on the site. It would really nice if people would list at least the state if not the town in which they are from. I think its :D kind of neat to put a location with a name when you read these posts. Anyone else like to know where people are from?????? JC

Jim, that is a good idea. You never know it might be your neighbor.

Cecil, You darn near are my neighbor . I only live 65 miles east of DSM right off I-80. Raced the Comet at the State Fair Grounds this summer on the night of Good Guys Rod and Custom Show. See it is a small world JC

I know I went right by you last Friday night on my way over to my brothers to go Deer hunting at South English. You talk about lousy weather, I said forget it and came home Monday.

Wow I had only ran across 69 comet 514 in the past, great to see the Comet thing is alive and well in Iowa. Have any of you guy's posted pictures of your Comets on the picture pages?

Thunderkiss 65 funny you say there are a few Comets flying around NE Iowa, I have a sticker made up for our vintage racing team that proclaims my home town of Brooklyn Iowa is the home of the Fly'n Fords. Most people in the vintage stockcar scene in Iowa know about the Fly'n Fords
