my comet also came with PS,pwr drum brks C4AT,,,also AC and a 4bbl 289,,,1st time I redone it back to orignal,,about 5,ooo miles later,i redone it again as it was no fun for me personaly to drive,removed all of it ,redone engine again went back with more cam ,2x4's and a top loader 4spd ,but with out PS pwr brks and AC..this was back in the early to middle 90's,,now it's a hoot for me to drive and drive it OL POP has...many miles across several states..and I still drive it regularly today...good luck on yours,,always remember,,,it's your car,,,DO IT YOUR WAY !! make it the way you want it to be,,,make your own personal ride...that way you'll keep it longer and have way more fun with it...take care ………...POP
