Got my 64 cov Caliente moving today

Post by cotton604 »

Just got my new project going today. Had a 64 Futura for 20 years. Now looking forward to getting my 64 Comet Caliente Convertible up and running. Not a master mechanic by any means but have a good knowledge of 60"s cars. I already have a ton of questions but I'm going to try to take my time and do one thing at a time. Hope you guys will bear with me I will be asking a lot of questions.
Thanks (in advance)

Welcome aboard, Cotton! :D You've got questions, somebody here will have the answers. Start you a build thread and take us on your journey. And like Mike said, we love pics.

I got tired of the Falcon after 20 years, no A/C got bored with it. Sold that a few years ago got a chance at this comet and had to go for it. The Falcon was a one owner when I got it, over the years I had the motor rebuilt but never did much to it. It was totally rust free a nice little car, I still see it a car shows ever now and then. I hate to be a dummy but every time I try to post a pic it says file too large, what am I doing wrong.

I do have a question, Need window regulator roller for 64 Comet Caliente convertible right quarter window. Info says Ford part # COAB-6423240-B will fit front windows but not quarter windows on a convertible. Anybody know the true story.

You could either use a photo resizer to reduce your pics probably
to about 800x600 seems to be a common number but Im not positive or you can go this route.
