Aloha guys,
Sorry for not posting anything for a long time. I’ve been picking up parts and working on Helen a little at a time when the sun is shining. We had a lot of rain this year. I welded in the shock tower braces and the lower control arm adjustable shims. Replaced the clutch pedal bushing with the roller bearings, installed the master cylinder and combination valve and I splatter painted the underside of the hood and engine compartment(old school). I’ll try to send some pictures.
Mahalo guys, Eddie

I cut out the rusted floor section and now I need to weld in the new section. I will be working on installing the line-lock and finishing up on the brake lines. Following that will be the front end suspension. Pictures to follow.
Thanks, Eddie from Hawaii

There are several threads in Driveline on brakes, spindles etc.
IMO, get a Kelsey/Hayes 1966 GT 350 Mustang knock off disc brake kit. It bolts onto your V8 spindles (they are same as early Mustang), 15/16" dual master amd an adjustable proportioning. No power assist needed. Several here have gone that route.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

Aloha all,

I did order the Kelsey/ Hayes disc brake conversion for our ride. Thank you guys for all the tech information. I was also thinking about a hydraulic clutch and would like more information if someone is running one on their 4 speed T-10 Borg Warner. Thanks again!

Eddie,

Are you running the early B-1 or H-1 tranny? Just curious.

Thanks

Hey Eddie I used Dougs headers on my 64 Falcon 4 speed. Fit was VERY tight but they fit.

Joe,

With the headers, the spark plug wires you use on the plug side is a straight or 45 degree?

Thanks Ed
