Hi, I'm Eddys67 and I have a 1967 Cinnamon Frost Cyclone GT which I've had about 2years now. I initially started out to buy a 1966 Fairlane GT like the one I had when I was commissioned into the Air Force in 1966, but couldn't resist this Cyclone when I came across it. Since it's GT it has an S-Code 390, C6 trans, power steering and brakes, 3.5 Yukon Posi rear, lightweight front fiberglass bumper, and aftermarket AM/FM. It's great to see that there are still a good group of folks that appreciate the old Comets/Cyclones. Thanks for letting me join in. By the way, is there anyone who knows what process Ford used to create the dull silver finish on the chrome section of the center console?

I really like that color and the Comet.
Not sure what the center console looks like, maybe a picture would help?
See Ya,
Mike

Here's a pic of the part I'm referencing. It's the silver flat finish on the chrome that is the puzzle.

Very nice looking Cyclone. ‘67’s are one of my favorites.
I would suggest you contact this company about refinishing your console trim:

I had them repair and re anodize some trim for my Cyclone and they did a great job. Make sure you provide them with some close up pictures so they know exactly what you need.
