Nice car!
Pull latch on my '63 under the front edge of the hood in the center.
I can't remember the '65 and I'm working on one now.
(The hood has been up the whole time in a garage)

I'll post a pic of the engine tomorrow but it's not stock. It's a 351 Windsor.

Welcome on.
See Ya,
Mike
Long as it is a Ford I don't think anyone here cares, not sure how many of us still have their stock motor, it took me 30 years to change mine and the original, but not "stock" motor, is sitting in the shed still, now that I have an empty engine stand I need to mount it up on it it makes a good conversation piece as wellBenJack9903 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 3:18 pmI'll post a pic of the engine tomorrow but it's not stock. Welcome aboard! That's a VERY nice 65. Looks like the interior is Palomino? Auto or 4-speed? Where are you located?

BTW, got the hood open. THANKS!!!
Re: 1965 Caliente Convertible
Welcome?
Looks like a lot of room to be a 351, did the builder slim down the shock towers?
I see lots a good stuff, aluminum rad, ac, dual brakes plus sweet looker to boot!

Cool Ray!
Looks like the shock towers got the cut to sneak in the headers.
The shock tower to firewall bracing has been removed. as well.
