There was a bolt in ifs for the 60-65. But I can't find it now. It was a M11 type and around $1700
I'm running this r&p set-up but with power assist. https://www.jegs.com/i/Unisteer/668/800 ... JoQAvD_BwE
The front engine cross-member adds a lot of rigidity to the front suspension. Tight and responsive.

certainly $1700 would be too pricyfor me but if it bolts in I would assume it is removabe as well, I like my Welders series weld in cross member I would guess well under $500 for my completeM2 install and the little I have drove it around the yard and a short drive up the highway, as soon as it gets aligned it will be the best front suspension the car has ever had (that is not hard from the worn out front supension the car has had since I bought iit in 1979) with R&P and the big stock steering wheel I dont need PS. having a 6cyl and big msnly arm doesn't hurt  .of course IMO a 6 cyl in a big bonus  I cant wait to get the alignment done and inspected so I can get the liscense on it and start road testing working the bugs out 8) my plans are some trips to town ( 10 miles, then when those are reliable start making my 30 mile trip t get groceries one or two times a month. when those are without inciedence , drive down to my aunt and uncles near Branson,( approx 100 miles) lots of hills and curves, if that is successful then it will be pretty much fully tested and ready for some cruising 8)

BTW my wife said we would try to get up to the shed this weekend for some Comet time  AKA Comet therapy!

Really liking the power and rear selection. Steering and brake upgrade in the front would be wise.
Fred
Thats next. V8 components still debating the disc brake conversion though. More than likely it will happen. Already have a dual master cylinder in that is capable of drum/drum or disc/drum
Do the discs, one of the best changes Ive made on mine,,, and I've made a few!
Fred
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about
