New '65 Mercury Comet Caliente Owner
New '65 Mercury Comet Caliente Owner
Like to introduce you to my wife's new 1965 Mercury Comet Caliente.
This thing is CLEAN!
We bought it from a gentlemen we met at a local cruise night. He mentioned he bought it from a friend who owned a museum and was closing down. It's been in storage since 2016.
With just over 26,000 original miles on the 289 4 barrel/C4, this thing is barely broke in. We got it running again just long enough to get it loaded up and taken to it's new home. All we've done so far is wash the exterior.
We are planning on going over everything (top to bottom, front to back) before making it road worthy again. Will need your help along the way. TIA
She's excited and I'm excited for her.

Thanks Joe. She had other choices, but fell in love with this Comet. I was taking it if she didn't!Joe Travers wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 12:47 pmGreat find man!!!
