New From Florida

Post by PCB 64Comet404 »

Hey everyone my name is David, my Wife bought a 1964 Comet 404 with the 4.3L as her first car many many moons ago. Now that I'm done with my first career and have a little bit of time we shipped her car from Ohio to sunny Florida to start restoring her (interior is almost perfect minus a couple small tears and the carpet needing washed but exterior needs some love from the Ohio winter roads). The car hasn't been started in a long time so that's going to be the first project then working to get a shop to do a complete restoration of the body and anything in the underside that needs some work. She's only got 62,500 miles on her so she has A LOT of life left in her for us to enjoy with our kids. Any pointers and ideas will greatly be accepted/appreciated. Here's a couple of pictures of her with more to follow this week.

Looks good, and largely complete for trim. A little body work to do, but hey, that's a Comet for ya :D
