I bought mine around '87-'88, sold it in the early '90s. PO was from the Baytown, Tx. area.
Guy I sold it to turned it quick to a guy in Central La. He totally restored it around mid-'90s, best I can remember.
Originally a 3 speed A code car, '71 302 w/ the original 289 intake. He installed a Toploader.

It has a 78 302 , .040 bore with 65 heads and had a crane Fireball , lost a lobe and put a comp pro magnum in it , the metal from lobe loss got to bearings and started losing oil pressure . Its in garage waiting on new engine .

Had to check the color chart. Looks like yours' is Silver Turquoise. Mine was Ocean Turquoise, just a shade darker.
Still pretty unique to see either these days.

It may not be too low to hit. My collector flange’s are just under 4” from the pavement, I have never hit them. I also am able to clear the cross rail on my lift using short ramps, no issues. Large Roadkill may be a problem!

Nice stance ! I have doug tri y's they're as long as long tube headers I think. I have an under engine bar with a jack pad. I've rubbed it on one dip near the end of a long straight bottom where I like to stomp bout 3 gears off . that video reminds me of the place! :D probably running 90 mph or more ,but other than that one place a couple times I haven't rubbed any. & I may be a tad lower than you.bar is actually too low I need to raise it a little . I doubt it would rub my headers even if that bar wasn't on there. I was worried more about the oilpan, that could be a nightmare. so it's a jack pad ,protector bar & brace .

Johno stance is air shocks , hopefully new tire combo will look the same when its done . I'm going to be looking at all that fit with the z bar .
There was a little concave in my pan and it just kissed the pick up , I took it off and removed it when i did the new cam.
