Wayne from Massachusetts looking for my 1968 Comet

Post by Waynenorcross »

I was the second owner after my wife's great uncle gave me the car with 60K miles on it when he went in a nursing home at 94 years. Sold with first right to buy back when unemployed and daughter getting married. The car ended up in a classic car showroom in Ohio and was featured in a Hemmings story. Blue with black top. I would like to find out who bought it to see about buying it back or, at least, give the current owner all the original paperwork I have.
Leads appreciated

Do you have any pictures? Which body style was it? Sounds like it may have been a convertible?
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.
