I was just stirring the pot, there is a BIT of a rivalry between the 64-5s

It is one of those things where both are great and any of us would take either (or any Comet for that matter) it is just us with a more refined taste prefer the '64s

You guys can bicker all you want about what looks better 64 or 65, I for one like them both. Both have their own special appeal. Hell 60 to at least 67 are all nice. I wouldn't mind having a whole stable of one each. I have always thought Mercurys were a cut above the rest.

No, they wouldn't do that because they prefer the stacked lights, makes the car look richer! Hey I like and have owned both, must admit I really liked my red "64 but then again I was 19 years old and either the car or me was a chick magnet, cannot remember which the girls preferred.

POP CAN ANSWER THAT QUESTION FOR YOU VERY VERY FAST it was the 64 comet that brought in the girls,,, don't strain your arm pattin your back,your in the same boat OL POP is,it's easy to pull a muscle,,,and it takes US longer to heal pop

I'd like to see that too. Have no idea who owns that one though I suspect maybe someone up north of me. Maybe they would come to the Falcon Nationals In Sac July 17.

My dad had a Ranchero with a '65 Comet front clip & my uncle had a very nice all black '66 Cyclone with a 390. I'll see if they have any pics. I can share. Those cars are the reason I like Comets! -Jim
