THANKS every one,,,,but i still gotta replace the clutch in it.My lift is out side,it's cold .... I'm to old and stiff to lie under it on acreeper. have to wait awhile.I sure miss driveing it.cause it is and always has been.....A DRIVER!! With every ones permission,its not a COMET,,want to post pics of wife's 1956 ford ,4 yr. project,[finished 1996]thanks-again..POP

if you were a little closer, i would drive over and change it out for you. it's a pretty quick job and i'm used to crawling on the ground

Riverbum,thanks for the offer,,,,,,it don't gotta be hot! just a little bit warmer......but be dry...no cover over lift.member when it never got to cold or wet? stuff like this came second to my job,before supper,sleep,kids ball-games,takeing wife to movies,etc.BOY,such memories.Honstley,wife is shocked ,I've put it off this long.nuff is enuff! pop

Pop, your 64 look great and no likes working in the cold. Never thought about putting a lift outside, good idea.

ROGER I pressure wash bottom side of every thing many times a year.even in cool, not cold weather,thats why lift is outside.under-hood,bottom side of 91 ranger,93 LX 5.0 mustang[wife car]bought both new,still looks almost brand new, clean,shiney.

ROY,,true story..ARK state police had me 1 nite in COMET,aimed flash-lite thru hood scoop,little 289 pawing the ground,ask,does it need a tune-up?said,hell-no ,ask..think you can out run my trooper car?I said hell yes,line it up.....he says..BOY,YOU SOUND MIGHTY SURE OF YOURSELF!! SAID i am sure....few other things on both sides were said.....HE let me go..glad he did,went home told wife,thought she was going to have bail comet and me both out of jail,there for afew mins.[that same trooper is old,retired and is my best friend today,treats me like a nephew].pop

1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.
