Joe,,,, Im one envious guy!!!
Very happy for ya and just so you know as soon as you let your son drive once you can go back to just wrenchin,,
Fred
Thanks Fred!
It was an adventure for sure just getting the car there on time! It was a great time and I didn’t break so I’m happy.
Next one is in October. It was 100 degrees out there so I’m looking forward to the fall cool weather for the next track event.
I told my son he’s going to learn how to drive a stick shift in the Comet. He breaks it he fixes it. Then he can take the Falcon on to the track to tune his skills

There was a professional photog at our track day back in August. Pretty cool pics. I’m buying a few in large format.

Joe just wondering if you know your race ready car weight?
Seems to me my Falcon circle track car was 2600 or so.

Fred I haven’t weighed the car but I’m thinking around 2600 lbs. A friend of mine has a gutted and caged small block 64 Falcon sedan that he races. His weighed in at 2600lbs.

Love everything about it. Love the sound of that car, the father son aspect and the black and white classic photos. What a moment for you. :D
