I would go out and get the part number off of my dipstick but it is dark and cold out :roll:

My apologies, Mike. I knew the vehicle code was for Maverick but didn't cross-reference the engine.
Engine part codes for '65-'72 are here, but I couldn't find that code in the list. Evidently, this list is model specific.

Well, I don't remeber the block casting code, but when I brought it home back in November I did look them up and the block was coded for 76 Mustang 2. My dipstick tube is the same length so I definitely have the wrong stick. I'll be changing it.
