COMET CENTRAL

i have my 4 speed swap pretty much finished one problem,i cant fire it up without a driveshaft.i have 2, one is too long and one is too short.the long one is smaller dia. than the short one which came out of my car when is was a c6.i had a couple inches took off it years ago when i took my first 4 speed out and switched to automatic.i found one for a 66 fairlane gt 390,which is what i need.but im going to have to drive 200-250 miles rt to pick it up.the one i need is 57 7/16 long.the one i took out is 54-too short by 3 1/2 inches.and the other one is skinnier,i think it came out of a 289 fairlane,its 58 3/4.its too long.i thought about having the long one cut or the ends off the big one put on a longer tube but i guess i will buy the ready to bolt in fairlane driveshaft.
