Nice; mine is nothing like that but my .030 over 390 raps like a little 289 up to 6k.

I have a Howe Racing radiator supplied by Crites Restorations in my '66 Fairlane. I also install dual Spal electric fans, engine t-stat @ 190, fan t-stat at 185. I have been in traffic idling at 100 ambient temp and the engine running at 190-ish all day long. The radiator is not a direct fit. Somewhat close using Crites's brackets. If you're looking for more original this is not for you but it looks good in the engine bay and not like a wild high performance radiator. Here are the links from a post I wrote on another forum years ago.

I used a Howe Racing aluminum radiator by Crites restoration http://www.critesrestoration.com/fairlane.htm
I used Spal dual fans http://www.spalusa.com/ part number 30102130 and their relay/thermostat controls at http://www.spalusa.com/fans/automated/t ... -195FH.pdf Quantity of 2, 1 for each fan motor. I had to upgrade to a 130 Amp one wire alternator to accomodate the fan amp draw. I used some old NOS hoses I had lying around to hook up the radiator and water connections.
Upper Hose: D1HZ-8260-A the Motorcraft equivalent is KM-391. Modification: 1" trimmed off both sides.
Lower Hose: C4SZ-8286-A the Motorcraft equivalent is KM-128. Modification: 3/4" trimmed off rad. side.

I do not know the HP rating on the radiator. I've never heard of radiator HP rating. I've always just calculated the surface area and the CFM of the fans to get a desired heat transfer and hope it works. It always has. I do have an Edelbrock aluminum water pump as well, timing initial at 12 and all in at 38. I'm about 450HP and it run cool all the time. I drag race it, cruise it, abuse it, etc...

Check with Crites and see if they have a HP recommendation on the radiator.

On your suspension topic. All of the control arms, tie rods, etc... are the same 289-390 so all you really need is stiffer springs, possibly a sway bar upgrade? Brakes I went with Granada/Maverick spindles, calipers and rotors. Stock 10x2 in the rear. All manual. It stops the Fairlane easily after a 12.22/113 pass. I have a '89 Ranger master cylinder (manual) which allows enough room for decent valve covers.
