When repainting the air filter assembly and valve cover what type of paint should i use? Does it need to be like a heat resistant engine paint?

they don't make the particular ditzler yellow color anymore and ppg now owns Ditzler, I did see a pretty good match while searching online, just don't know
who to get to mix up the paint and what type of paint and clearcoat (if any).

Many thanks in advance.

As far as type of paint I had just regular Rustoleum rattle can paint on my valve cover for 30+ years so I don't think high temp is necessary, just do good prep and make sure to use a good wax and grease remover before you paint. I also don't think clear coat is required or even needed on an engine, don't think Ford originally worried too much about a slick paint job under the hood.
